Coquille was recently named one of the ten best small towns in America by "Travel Holiday Magazine". Linda Sanders, a contributing editor for the Magazine, said a number of factors led to Coquille's selection as number nine on the list of distinguished small towns.

She went on to say that her selection was based on "history, architecture, and the people there are really friendly. It seems that small towns are famous for dying out these days, but Coquille just grabbed me when I drove in and saw it sitting up on the hill."

Historic Homes Afghan

From the many beautiful historic homes in Coquille, the Chamber of Commerce has chosen eight to be depicted in quality drawings on our first Historic Homes Afghan custom designed by County Mills of Piperville, Pennsylvania.

The Afghans are 100% cotton with the design on a beige background in either Hunter Green or Cranberry Red and cost just $45.00 each. Samples of the Afghans are on display at the chamber office.
